My name is Tuck Harry, and I've been living my passion for over 30 years. This beautiful emerald island, nestled between Juneau and Sitka, is the home of Fishing Bear Alaska. Each year, approximately 750,000 salmon migrate to spawn in the rivers of our inlet.
Coho, chum, and pink salmon are abundant in the thirteen rivers flowing into Tenakee Inlet and can be caught in both fresh and saltwater. The majestic Chinook salmon, the largest of the species, feed and can be landed in the saltwater areas near Tenakee Springs.

Kalani's unique background, spanning from the warm waters of his Hawaiian birthplace to the rich fishing grounds of Florida and Southeast Alaska, has equipped him with a versatile skill set and a deep understanding of various marine ecosystems. This diverse experience now culminates in his expertise of Alaska's bountiful waters.
With 10 plus years of professional guiding experience from Alaska to Florida, Kalani knows the local waters like the back of his hand. His intimate knowledge of southeast Alaska's fishing hotspots, combined with his intuitive understanding of fish behavior, ensures that every charter is an opportunity for an exceptional catch.

My journey in the culinary world began at the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu, where I honed my skills and graduated in 2010. Since then, I've immersed myself in various roles within the hospitality industry, always with a passion for creating unforgettable dining experiences. For the past eight years, I've called Florida home, where I've had the opportunity to deepen my expertise in seafood cookery. The Sunshine State's rich maritime culture has been an incredible source of inspiration, allowing me to experiment with diverse techniques and flavors that I'm excited to bring back to my Alaskan roots.
My heart has always belonged to Southeast Alaska, particularly Tenakee Springs. This special place holds countless memories from my youth, and I'm overjoyed to return with my family to share the wonders of this pristine wilderness with our guests.
